Cameron Jones first opened New Verse's doors in 2004, with the goal of providing a depth of education and training previously unavailable to Portland's aspiring guitarists and bassists. The studio has since grown into a local institution, with Cameron's drive to consistently refine and improve his teaching methods earning him a reputation as one of the region's most innovative and effective instructors.

 

Cameron holds a Bachelor of Music, summa cum laude, in classical guitar & composition, and has been a full-time teacher and musician for most of his adult life. In addition to teaching, he maintains a busy schedule as a solo guitarist, band member,  and youtuber.
